Looking for Swim Meets? We can help you find them!
Entering to compete for GS Aquatics in a Swim Meet is a relatively simple process thanks to the SWIM CENTRAL online entry system. Keep an eye on the Wide Bay and Swimming QLD meet calendars online via the links provided below.
GSA Club Members will be notified via email of upcoming events within the Wide Bay region.
Meets have been planned within the Swimming Qld guidelines and must be compliant with the approved Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre industry COVID Safe Plan Stage 3. Please be informed of what is required as the nomination of your swimmer to a meet is your acceptance of the restriction and guidelines put in place by the host Club so they can fulfill their requirements. For this information, please read Swimming Queensland COVID-19 Meet Information for Attendees – 2.0 – 22 July 2020 and Swimming Queensland COVID-19 Terms and Conditions – 1.0 – 22 July 2020 to learn about meet information for attendees.

Information about Race Entries
- Meet nominations are to be made online through the SWIM CENTRAL online system. If you are to compete in the swimming world, it is becoming increasingly important to learn to use the System to enter races. Click here for detailed instructions for entering events.
- GS Aquatics is fully supportive of this Swimming Queensland initiative, any effort to reduce volunteer workloads is to be applauded.
- If you have not already done so, you will need to obtain the SWIM CENTRAL username and PIN for each swimmer wanting to nominate for meets (who must be a financial 8yrs & Under or 9yrs+ Competitive swimmer). If you are experiencing difficulties with membership registration, you can email gsaquatics@gslc.qld.edu.au or contact Swimming Queensland directly by clicking here.
- If the meet is not on SWIM CENTRAL, manual nominations will need to be done directly with the club holding the meet. Their meet flyer on their website will normally give instructions on how to do this.
If you are unsure, or have a query or suggestion, email the GSA Club Support Officer at gsaquatics@gslc.qld.edu.au.
